On 18 April 2013 at 7pm, a Guitar-Soirée "Women and Guitar" will take place in the headquarters of Lotto Rheinland-Pfalz, one of the major sponsors of the Koblenz International Guitar Festival.
The artists include: the siblings Nikita and Nasstja Müller (Wiesbaden), Bahar Türker (Turkey), Theresia and Katharina Weimer (Essen) and Sabrina Vlascalic (Serbia).
There will also be a presentation of this year's Koblenz International Guitar Festival programme to the media and the public.
As of 1 September 2013 Prof. Costas Cotsiolis (Greece) and Prof. Alexander S. Ramirez (Germany/Peru) will join the teaching staff of the Koblenz International Guitar Academy.

1st Prize:3000 euro, a concert in Carnegie Hall New York City, all travel/accommodation expenses provided by D‘Addario & Company and the D’Addario Music Foundation along with a three-year supply of D‘Addario strings (52 sets a year), 30 sets of Savarez strings with goodies and a T-shirt, 10 concerts in Germany with a payment of 500 euro per concert including the record release concert at the 22nd Koblenz International Guitar Festival & Academy 2014.
2nd Prize:2000 euro, a three-year supply of D‘Addario strings (26 sets a year) and 25 sets of Savarez strings with goodies and a T-shirt.
3rd Prize:1000 euro, a three-year supply of D‘Addario strings (26 sets a year) and 19 sets of Savarez strings with goodies and a T-shirt.
Premio Joaquín Rodrigo:500 euro, scores and CDs provided by the fundación Victoria y Joaquín Rodrigo for the best interpretation of a piece by Joaquín Rodrigo. Regulations
